The Student Advisory Council Meeting

Tuesday, October 29, 11:00 am to 12 noon
Location: Texas Ballroom, Salon A
Get together with the other Students and Associate mem-
bers of ASPRS attending this years’ conference and learn
what the SAC has been working on. Stay for the meet and
greet and make some connections with potential Employers
attending this year.
The SAC members would love to meet all students attending
the conference and hear any ideas you may have to make your
conference experience enjoyable.
The meet and greet is designed to connect members looking
to apply for jobs in the digital mapping industry with employers
looking to hire. Bring your resume, a business card, or just a smile
and a handshake, and expand your job network at the conference.

activities designed just for YOU!
Young Professionals Council (YPC)
Tuesday, October 29, 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Location: Texas Ballroom, Salon A
The mission of the ASPRS Young Professionals Council (YPC)
is to enhance a member’s professional development through
mentoring, networking and certification. We are designed to
serve the needs of the Associate Members under the age of 35.
The YPC welcomes anyone who is interested in serving on
the council or would like to hear about their progress thus
far to attend the meeting.
Other Social Activities
Your SAC Networking Councilor will arrange relaxed social
gatherings after each of the day’s conference activities.
These events will allow you to get to know more of the stu-
dents and young professional members of ASPRS. Attendees
are welcome to join in on the fun as well.
