New generation of lidar sensors were introduced to the market in the last few years by the manufacturers of Linear mode lidar, GML and SPL. I am proposing a panel to brief the community of users on the latest lidar systems and user?s experiences. This panel is a continuation of previous efforts to provide status of lidar technologies in the market. I am planning to have manufacturers and users of the three lidar systems, linear, SPL, and GML to discuss the state of current systems and their planned developments to advance the lidar technology. In addition, the panel will show case users experience with the new GML and SPL.
